for males and females - LOST is like the EX that you’re still in love with and you want to get back together with. They keep you on an “always guessing, dont go anywhere” leash because theyre not quite over it yet, but want to keep you around till they are completely over it (just in case!) Maybe once a week they hit you up, you’ve been waiting for this moment, you go hang, talk, remember why you love this so much, maybe hook up, and then you get mad cuz because you dont get what you wanted, you are left even more confused than before because you’re even more invested and still attached and can’t give up on it even if tho you want to! so you wait a week, lay low, talk about the insanity with your friends, and try to have them figure it out for you, but can’t, only offering you ideas that confuse you even more! you  anxiously wait for the moment you get a chance to figure it all out with them and have some sense of clarity, but it all repeats over again! Until the series is over, you have the DVDs, the memories to reflect on when you want to torture yourself, and then one day you find a new tv show to fall in love with which will hopefully be a nice, light hearted comedy!
